Region Security is advertising a Casual Position for Event Security - a role required on an event-to-event basis. Our company places an emphasis on transparency; the role advertised differs to our Full time/Part-Time Positions we advertise. Successful candidates will be offered a structured calendar of events that provides notice of upcoming shifts and a clear outline of the shift-length and work load for each event.

We are looking for FIVE Security Guards to join our small team of professionals, in providing crowd-control at our client events and festivals including:

- Licensed Venues
- Music Festivals and Concerts
- Industry Exhibitions
- Expos
- Cultural Events
- Community Events
- Entertainment Events
- Sporting Events
- Asset Security

Qualifications required to apply include:

- NSW 1A – Security License
- NSW Drivers License
- Senior First Aid Certificate – or able to renew/acquire within the first 30-days of employment
- RSA - or able to renew/acquire within the first 30-days of employment

Skillsets and qualities required at Region Security include:

- Excellent report writing and observational skills
- Physically fit (required to undertake foot patrols for extended periods)
- Effective communication skills (including conflict resolution)
- Presentation is professional, neat and excellent hygiene
- Teamwork – able to provide support for fellow staff members and site personnel
- Considerate, caring and respectful to all persons
- Clear understanding of relevant legislation (including Security Industry Act, Inclosed Lands Protection Act, Liquor Act, Privacy Act and Work Health and Safety)
- Flexibility with capacity to assist fellow staff members when taking leave





Experience considered relevant to the application will include:

- Security Industry Experience
- Other industry experience where an example of conflict resolution was undertaken
