Rooftop Gutters & Solar Cleaning – Perth WA (field based)

$45 per hour | Full-time | 40–45 hrs/week

About the role

We’re looking for a hands-on Team Lead to run our gutter cleaning crews day-to-day.

You’ll be on the tools with the team while also coordinating jobs, keeping standards high, and making sure everyone gets home safe.

As we grow from a crew of around 4 to 8, the role will shift more toward supervision, coaching, and performance management.

This role suits someone who takes full ownership — you plan ahead, communicate clearly, and lift the whole crew.

Key responsibilities

- Meet daily/weekly schedule targets (jobs completed, on-time arrivals, quality standards)
- Assign technicians into teams and allocate jobs based on capability, location and job requirements
- Coordinate job flow in the field and adjust plans when conditions change
- Lead by example and ensure all safety protocols and SWMS are followed (non-negotiable)
- Identify hazards, stop work when required, and escalate issues properly
- Maintain quality standards (clean finish, tidy site, clear job notes/photos as required)
- Build team spirit, train new team members, and coach performance

What we’re looking for

Must-have





- Experience leading a small field crew (maintenance/cleaning/roofing/construction/landscaping or similar)
- Strong safety mindset, especially around ladders/heights and job-site risk management
- Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
- Ownership mindset — you follow through without being micromanaged
- Current driver’s licence and ability to work a physical, outdoor role

Preferred (or willing to obtain)

- Working at Heights
- First Aid
- Experience training/mentoring technicians
- Familiarity with job management apps (e.g., ServiceM8 or similar)
