About Us:

CPJ LANDSCAPES PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to undertake the installation and finishing of wall and floor tiling for residential and commercial landscape construction projects. The role involves laying ceramic, porcelain, stone and mosaic tiles in outdoor entertainment areas, patios, pathways, pool surrounds, courtyards and other landscape features while ensuring a high standard of workmanship and compliance with Australian building standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Reviewing architectural drawings, plans and specifications to determine tiling layouts, measurements and installation requirements.

· Measuring areas and calculating material quantities required for each project.

· Preparing wall and floor surfaces by cleaning, levelling, waterproofing and applying screeds or underlays where required.

· Marking out tiling layouts to achieve accurate alignment, symmetry and efficient material usage.

· Cutting, shaping and trimming ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, marble, granite and mosaic tiles using hand tools and powered cutting equipment.

· Laying wall and floor tiles using appropriate adhesives, mortars and installation techniques.

· Installing outdoor paving tiles for patios, terraces, courtyards, alfresco areas, pathways, pool surrounds and landscape structures.

· Grouting, pointing and sealing tiled surfaces to ensure durability, weather resistance and an attractive finish.

· Installing expansion joints,



edge trims and waterproof membranes in accordance with Australian Standards and manufacturer specifications.

· Repairing, replacing and restoring damaged or defective wall and floor tiles as required.

· Inspecting completed work to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

· Working collaboratively with landscapers, carpenters, concreters and other trades to coordinate project activities and meet construction schedules.

· Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

· Following workplace health and safety procedures and complying with all relevant building codes and regulations.

Skills and Experience

· At least three years of relevant full-time work experience as Wall and Floor Tiler.

· Demonstrated experience installing ceramic, porcelain, stone and outdoor paving tiles.

· Sound knowledge of waterproofing systems, adhesives, grouts, sealants and surface preparation techniques.

· Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

· Experience operating tile cutting and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.

· Robust attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.

· A current driver's licence is required.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
