We at Blacktown Building Supplies have been providing Builders & DIYer's with all their Timber, Building Supplies & Hardware needs for over 30 years.

We have a full-time position available for a motivated Timber Yardperson.

The successful candidate must possess…

- a desire to give great service to our customers and the team
- ability to load & unload building materials and timber using a forklift
- the desire to work in the timber yard & mill
- ability to control stock, customer orders & movement of stock within the yard
- the ability to work within a team
- attention to detail, punctuality & Initiative essential
- ability to use woodworking machinery

Skills/Knowledge/Experience required:

- Customer focus
- Knowledge / experience in working with timber preferable




- Ability to converse with a variety of different customers & staff
- Forklift license is required.

Duties & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Customers service
- Forklift driving
- Loading and unloading trucks & customer vehicles
- Replenishing stock
- Pulling out customer orders
- Timber cutting
- Housekeeping within the Timberyard

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $52,000.00 – $57,000.00 per year
