About the role

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Kenmore Princeton Street, you'll work alongside our experienced Centre Director to help lead a high-performing team and support the day-to-day operations of our centre.

You'll use your leadership skills and early childhood expertise to mentor educators, build strong family relationships, and contribute to a positive, inclusive centre culture.

In this role, you'll:
✨ Support the Centre Director in leading a team that delivers high-quality early learning and care

✨ Mentor and build capability within the centre team

✨ Lead centre operations in the Centre Director's absence

✨ Implement and champion the Goodstart Practice Guide

✨ Build strong relationships with families and the wider community

✨ Drive continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations

What you'll bring

✔ Previous experience as an Assistant Director, Centre Leader, or in a similar leadership role





✔ Robust knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

✔ Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills

✔ Current QLD Working with Children Check

✔ Passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children, families, and teams
