Are you a reliable and compassionate individual of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our community members? Yarning Crescent is expanding, and we are seeking dedicated support workers who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to provide support to our valued participants.

This role will involve assisting our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants in Newcastle and surrounding region.

Requirements: To be part of our team, you will need to identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, as we consider this a genuine occupational requirement for this position under s 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).

Additionally, you will need the following:

- A reliable, clean vehicle, and a valid driver's license.
- A valid WWCC (Working with Children Check) and a clear Criminal History Check.
- While certifications are highly regarded, we also value relevant experience, and both will be considered.
- Strong English speaking and literacy skills are a must to effectively communicate and engage with our clients.

Salary: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
