Full Time/ Part Time/ Casual Pastry Chef
Martha’s is a thriving café and bakery in Wareemba with a strong reputation for quality, craft, and consistency. We’re seeking a casual/full time/part time Pastry Chef to support and elevate our pastry and viennoiserie program.
About You
You’re an experienced pastry professional who truly understands exceptional pastries, desserts, and baked goods, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality products that are technically excellent and visually refined.
You’re comfortable setting standards, refining processes, and guiding others, while still being hands-on in production.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Have 4+ years’ experience in pastry, with experience in a bakery
- Are highly skilled in a variety of pastry production and experience with viennoiserie
- Understand production planning and workflow efficiency
- Have a meticulous eye for detail and consistency
- Work cleanly, calmly, and with intention
- Are passionate about technique,
quality ingredients, and continuous improvement
Your day-to-day will include:
- Assisting with laminated pastry production from start to finish
- Managing schedules for production
- Maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Developing new specials with the tea,
- Ensuring cleanliness, food safety, and equipment care
