The Child Care Worker position at Froliq Early Learning Centre Werribee is a full-time role focused on supporting the daily care, development, and wellbeing of children. Working under the guidance of Lead Educators, the successful candidate will contribute to creating a nurturing and engaging environment that aligns with the company’s mission of fostering learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare, conduct, supervise and assist in delivering age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and creativity.
· Support children’s learning through play-based and child-led experiences
· Build solid, respectful relationships with children and families
· Ensure the safety, hygiene, and wellbeing of children at all times.
· Support social interaction and positive relationships among children and staff.
· Work collaboratively with Lead Educators and teaching teams to implement daily routines and educational programs.
· Contribute to observations, documentation and daily routines
· Maintain a clean, safe, organized, nurturing and engaging learning childcare environment.
Requirements:
· Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
· Required Qualifications:
Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
· Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of full-time experience (or equivalent part-time) in a childcare setting.
Required Skills:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
· Basic understanding of child development principles.
