Position Summary

The In-house Management Consultant is responsible for supporting the restaurant’s strategic and operational objectives by:

- Analysing business operations, organisational performance, and management practices across the restaurant business.
- Evaluating financial, operational, payroll, and workforce data using Square POS, Square Payroll, Deputy, and Xero to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Developing and implementing business improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Advising directors and senior management on business strategy, organisational development, workforce planning, cost management, and operational best practices.
- Preparing business performance reports, KPI dashboards, feasibility studies, and strategic recommendations to support commercial decision-making.
- Reviewing business processes, policies, and internal controls, and recommending improvements to strengthen governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Supporting the implementation of technology solutions, process improvements, and organisational change initiatives.
- Monitoring business performance against strategic objectives and recommending continuous improvement initiatives to achieve sustainable growth.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

- Advanced Diploma in Business, Management,



Leadership, Hospitality Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, strategic planning, organisational improvement, and operational performance within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Advanced knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, labour cost control, inventory management, and business performance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Square POS, Square Payroll, Deputy, and Xero, including reporting, analytics, payroll analysis, workforce planning, and financial performance monitoring.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and develop practical business solutions.
- Experience in developing and implementing business improvement strategies, KPI frameworks, and performance management systems.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, hospitality awards, payroll compliance, and workplace best practices.
- Ability to lead organisational change initiatives and provide strategic advice to directors and senior management.

Pay: $79,423.00 – $85,000.00 per year
