JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Aged and Disabled Carer to provide personalised support to NDIS participants. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily activities, personal care, household tasks, and provide emotional support to enhance their quality of life and independence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

Ø Provide mobility assistance to clients including transfers, positioning, and ambulation support

Ø Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing

Ø Prepare nutritious meals according to clients' dietary requirements

Ø Perform essential housekeeping duties including cleaning, vacuuming, and laundry

Ø Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and community events

Ø Shop for groceries and run errands as needed

Ø Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement

Ø Arrange and facilitate social activities to promote mental wellbeing

Ø Monitor clients' health condition and report any changes to supervisor or family members





Ø Maintain accurate records of care provided and client observations

Ø Assist with personal hygiene including bathing, showering, toileting, and grooming

Ø Help with dressing, undressing, and selection of appropriate clothing

Ø Assist with oral care, hair care, and skin care

Ø Support continence management including changing incontinence products

Ø Assist with medication reminders (as permitted by regulations)

Qualifications -

l Previous 1-2 years full time experience in aged care or disability support (preferred)

l Understanding of aged care and disability service standards

l Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent qualification

· Physical capability to assist with client transfers and positioning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year
