Position Title: Nurse: Orthopaedic Ward

Reporting To: Nursing Unit Manager

Terms: Part Time/Full Time

Remuneration: EBA Wyvern Private Hospital

1. POSITION SUMMARY

If you’re a dedicated, caring Registered or Enrolled Nurse with experience in Orthopaedics, we’d
love to meet you. We need Orthopaedic Nurses at our state-of-the-art current facility, Wyvern Private
Hospital.
You'll love the working environment: set in a beautiful bush backdrop in Terrey Hills, it’s light and
bright, modern and well-equipped.

As a nurse on one of our wards, you’ll meet patient care needs with a smile. We are looking for
registered and enrolled nurses, experienced in giving care to orthopaedic patients. If you’re aspiring

We are looking to offer Permanent Full Time or Permanent Part Time contracts to the right
candidates.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & SKILLS

- Experience in an orthopaedic ward





- A genuine passion to provide excellent care for both patients and their loved ones

- Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

- Effective assessment of patients, by analysing data and identifying their needs

- Ability to develop a holistic nursing care plan to meet individual patient needs

- Confidence in supervising ENs/AINs, depending on position

- Medication administration

- Robust administration skills, ability to accurately record the patient journey in a timely fashion

- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement

- Strong attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times

- The ability to stay calm under pressure

- A great sense of teamwork and effective communication skills. You're happy to seek guidance

when you need it.
- A genuine understanding of Wyvern Private Hospital's "Care Without Compromise" philosophy

3. OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse,

Division 1 (AHPRA)

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience

- Valid Working with Children Check

- National Police Check

- 100-point ID check

- Full Australian Working Rights (Sponsorships not available at this stage)

- Proof of vaccinations
