Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and helping the team keep documentation consistent from design through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and modify existing drawings based on feedback from team members and clients.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to gather data and assess project needs.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions.
Qualifications
- Degree or Advanced Diploma or Diploma in related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsperson.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
