About The Position

The Savoury Dining Penrith Pty Ltd is looking for a Restaurant Manager with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a relevant diploma. This role reports to the Director. 40 Hrs per week.

The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Welcome and assist patrons upon arrival, provide them with menus, and take their food and beverage orders.
- Facilitate easy reservation processes by phone or in person.
- Collaborate with the head chef on planning menus. Identify emerging trends and opportunities, innovate recent dishes, and ensure accurate pricing on menus to optimise profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for ingredients, beverages,



and supplies, and maintain adequate stock to meet customer demand.
- Review invoices and track expenses for efficient financial management.
- Maintain consistency in service standards by implementing standard operating procedures and conducting regular training and quality checks.
- Organise and oversee functions and events such as private parties and corporate gatherings.
- Handle financial transactions, including managing the cash register, processing payments, and reconciling daily transactions.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld, adhering to health and safety regulations. Develop cleaning schedules and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with corporate clients to tailor menus for events and coordinate with staff to ensure seamless execution.
- Focus on achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Implement roster structures to optimise labour costs.
- Recruit, train, and supervise front and back-of-house managers and supervisors, including performance evaluations and ongoing support.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales targets, monitor financial performance, control costs, and maximise overall profitability of the restaurant.





Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:

- A relevant diploma.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated genuine passion for the hospitality sector and restaurant management.
- Strong verbal communication skills, enabling effective liaison with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Excellent organisational abilities to oversee key restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial budgeting.
- Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Superior time management skills to ensure efficient daily operations and consistent, timely service delivery.
- Proven multitasking capabilities to successfully manage multiple responsibilities at once, including team supervision, customer service, and administrative tasks.
- Proactive attitude toward adopting new technologies, emerging industry trends, and modern management practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Strong capability to effectively oversee all areas of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative functions.
