As a Barista / All-Rounder at The Lookout Café, you’ll be part of a friendly, rapid-paced team delivering great coffee, fresh food, and warm service to locals and visitors alike. You’ll be confident on the coffee machine and happy to lend a hand wherever needed..from making drinks and running plates to jumping on the till or helping with prep.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks with consistency and care
- Take customer orders and operate the point-of-sale system
- Deliver friendly, attentive customer service at all times
- Assist with food preparation and general kitchen tasks
- Run food and drinks to tables and clear as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the café
- Work collaboratively with the team during busy service periods
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista experience
- A genuine love for good coffee and good people
- A positive attitude and willingness to jump into any task
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment
- Must be available to work weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to roll up your sleeves
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $24.95 – $40.71 per hour
