Tiger Timber is putting a new team together to handle most things infrastructure!

If you’re looking to make an impact, enjoy working outdoors, don’t mind a bit of travel between Cecil Plains and Toowoomba and have general/skilled labouring experience this is your sign!

We have several opportunities open for people to join us as General and Skilled Labourers – we promise you’ll never be bored.

— Measuring and cutting logs (Chainsaw certification is required)
— Machine operator of our Loader and Forklift (Forklift certification is required)
— Twin saw operator
— Kara Saw Bench
— 1-Man Bench
— Docker
— Stacker

All positions above need to do daily reporting to our Producing Manager, the purpose of these roles first is to assist and conduct repairs and maintenance of equipment on our Mill, second is logs cutting and machines’ operation.





We’re looking for people within the regional areas of Cecil Plains, Dalby and Toowoomba in Queensland.

About the Role

This new team will be responsible for:

- Conducting general maintenance and repairs of equipment
- Working in a team to identify requirements for improving current infrastructure
- Develop repair, maintenance and construction plans and ensure completion of work from start to finish
- Ensure compliance and adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures

About You

In putting this team together, we’re after people with the following skills:

- Forklift and Chainsaw certifications are strongly desired, however we have positions open for both general and skilled labourers
- General labouring experience worked for Sawmill before.
- Sawmill infrastructure experience
- Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and as a part of a wider team
- The ability to travel as required (Between Dalby and Toowoomba)
