My Slice of Life Transport and Services (MSOLTS) is a registered NDIS provider delivering high-quality, person-centred disability support services throughout Sydney.
We specialise in supporting people living with psychosocial disabilities, complex mental health conditions, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and other complex support needs. Our experienced team provides practical, recovery-focused support that promotes independence, choice, dignity and community participation.
Our services include Supported Independent Living (SIL), Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, community access, transport, personal care, daily living assistance, capacity building, skill development and psychosocial recovery supports, enabling participants to achieve their NDIS goals and live meaningful, independent lives.

ABOUT THE ROLE
MSOLTS is expanding its Complex Mental Health and Supported Independent Living services and is seeking two experienced Casual Support Workers to join our growing team.
We currently have two participants who have requested both male and female support workers. As a result, we are seeking two support workers, including one female support worker, to meet participant preferences and support needs.
We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. Recruitment decisions will be based on participant needs, qualifications, experience, availability and suitability for the role.
Employment Type: Casual
Hourly Rate: $36.81–$38.81 per hour plus Superannuation and applicable penalty rates
Minimum Availability: Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with opportunities for additional shifts.
Applicants must be flexible and available to work across a 7-day roster, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and public holidays where required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver person-centred, recovery-focused support to NDIS participants.
- Support participants living with psychosocial disabilities, complex mental health conditions, intellectual disabilities and other complex support needs.
- Assist with personal care, daily living activities, domestic assistance, meal preparation and medication prompting.
- Provide transport and support participants to attend appointments, education, employment and community activities.
- Support participants within Supported Independent Living environments.
- Promote independence, confidence, life skills, choice and community participation.
- Follow participant support plans, behaviour support plans and risk management strategies.
- Maintain accurate ShiftCare case notes, incident reports and other required documentation.
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, Support Coordinators, allied health professionals and other stakeholders.
- Identify and report risks, incidents, behavioural changes and safeguarding concerns.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect participant privacy.
- Comply with NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements and MSOLTS policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support, Community Services, Mental Health, Disability, Ageing Support or a related field.
- Applicants currently studying a relevant qualification may also be considered.
- Minimum 12 months’ experience supporting people with psychosocial disability, complex mental health, Supported Independent Living or within community services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
- Confidence working with participants who may have complex behaviours or high support needs.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current National Police Check completed within the last 12 months.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – Quality, Safety and You.
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Willingness to drive your own vehicle and/or MSOLTS company vehicles.
- Current Australian work rights.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and public holidays as required.
- Ability to travel throughout Sydney and surrounding areas.
- Ability to complete all required documentation and training.
DESIRABLE
- Experience supporting participants with psychosocial disability, complex mental health or Supported Independent Living.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Mental Health First Aid Certificate.
- Medication Administration training.
- Experience supporting participants with behaviours of concern.
- Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and recovery-oriented practice.
- Experience using ShiftCare or a similar client management system.
