- Implement and maintain the company’s accounting system, including selecting appropriate software solutions
- Provide guidance on audit processes to effectively manage investments and optimise profitability
- Develop, manage, and monitor budgets
- Prepare regular financial reports and conduct performance analysis for presentation to directors, management, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure the accuracy of financial information and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Apply Australian accounting standards and taxation regulations in daily operations
- Oversee accounts payable (creditor management)
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions to maintain accurate company records and improve cost efficiency
- Establish customer accounts and manage accounts receivable
- Conduct site visits where required to review record-keeping systems and data collection processes
- Provide regular updates to management, identifying issues and offering timely solutions or risk mitigation strategies
- Maintain accurate General Ledger and journal entries to support reporting requirements
- Manage payroll and PAYG obligations
- Prepare half-yearly and end-of-financial-year reports, including statutory returns
- Perform additional finance-related duties as required across the organisation
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of two years’ relevant work experience
- Solid work ethic with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
Salary & Application
Base salary ranges from $78,000 to $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
