Boardroom Waiter / Corporate Hospitality Attendant

JRM Hospitality Melbourne is looking for experienced Boardroom Waiters to provide high-level food and beverage service within a corporate environment.
The role focuses on delivering discreet, professional hospitality services for meetings, conferences, and executive functions.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, polished presentation, and the ability to operate independently while maintaining premium service standards.

Requirements

- Full Availability Monday-Friday at full time hours
- Full Working Rights
- RSA
- Ability to make coffee
- This role is not suitable to WHV or Student Visa holders.

Key Responsibilities
Meeting & Conference Service

- Set up and prepare meeting rooms for breakfasts, morning teas, lunches, and afternoon teas
- Deliver food and beverage service during meetings, ensuring professional and unobtrusive service
- Monitor meeting rooms throughout service to replenish beverages, clear items, and maintain presentation
- Clear and reset rooms efficiently between bookings

Food & Beverage Service

- Serve plated meals, buffets, and working lunches for corporate meetings and events
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and espresso beverages where required
- Manage water service, glassware, and table settings
- Maintain knowledge of menus, dietary requirements, and service standards




- Must have the ability to make barista-style coffee on demand

Room Setup & Event Preparation

- Arrange table settings, buffets, and catering displays
- Ensure meeting rooms are clean, organised, and prepared ahead of scheduled functions
- Assist with room reconfigurations for different meeting styles (boardroom, theatre, classroom)
- Basic set up of A/V systems.

Operational Support

- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, kitchens, and meeting rooms
- Assist with stock replenishment and catering deliveries
- Ensure all equipment, crockery, glassware, and service items are clean and ready for use

Professional Standards

- Maintain impeccable grooming and professional presentation
- Deliver discreet service appropriate for executive environments
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues efficiently

Experience & Skills

- Previous experience in corporate hospitality, hotels, fine dining, or premium catering environments
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple meeting rooms simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and organisational ability
