We’re looking for a Pan & Deep Fry Cook to join our hot kitchen team.
About the Role
As a Pan & Deep Fry Cook, you’ll prepare hot dishes using both pan and deep-fry techniques. From karaage and tempura to donburi , pan fried and charcoal grilled dishes, you’ll deliver consistency in taste, presentation, and speed in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook hot dishes using pan and deep-fry methods
- Set up and stock your section with required ingredients and tools
- Control cooking times and oil temperatures for quality and safety
- Plate dishes with attention to presentation and portion size
- Monitor ingredient freshness and assist with kitchen prep
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Follow food hygiene and safety protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role
- Confident using pans, fryers, and gas burners
- Knowledge of Japanese-style hot dishes (advantage)
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a team under pressure
- Intermediate English communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
