The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of commercial and residential projects, collaborating closely with clients, architects, builders, consultants, and suppliers from concept development through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet with clients and project stakeholders to understand project objectives, design preferences, operational requirements, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop innovative interior design concepts that balance functionality, aesthetics, practicality, and user experience.
- Analyse spatial layouts and propose solutions that optimise the use, flow, accessibility, and overall performance of interior environments.
- Prepare concept boards, material palettes, mood boards, design presentations, and detailed documentation for client review and approval.
- Produce high-quality drawings, 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations using industry-standard design software.
- Select and specify finishes, fixtures, fittings, furniture, lighting, and decorative elements that align with project requirements and design intent.
- Prepare detailed interior design documentation and construction drawings suitable for project delivery and construction.
- Coordinate with architects, builders, engineers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure design outcomes are accurately implemented.




- Assist in the development of design solutions that comply with relevant building regulations, standards, accessibility requirements, and industry best practices.
- Review project progress during construction and provide design support to maintain consistency with approved plans and specifications.
- Research emerging design trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices to enhance project outcomes.
- Assist with project budgeting by sourcing products, obtaining supplier quotations, and contributing to cost planning activities.
- Design custom joinery, cabinetry, and bespoke interior features where required to complement overall project concepts.

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proven experience working on commercial, residential, fit-out, or mixed-use projects.
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D visualisation software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, material selection, and construction documentation.
- Knowledge of Australian building regulations, standards, and industry practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset combined with practical problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $85,000.00 per year
