ABOUT THE COMPANY: Established in 2017, JJNails Beauty Spa is a premium beauty salon which provides various beauty services including manicure, pedicure, eyelash, eyebrow and non-invasive beauty services.

Freshly renovated, our beauty salon is located on the main street with great access to retail shops, public transportation, parking and shopping malls. We are influenced by beauty trends in Asia as we source our products mainly from Korea, Japan and locally.

ABOUT THE JOB: We are looking for a passionate beauty technician to join the team. You will join a cosy and family oriented environment with team members from around the world. Aside from feeling rewarded from the job, you will also build long lasting friendships with colleagues and clients.

It is essential you are able to work during weekends in the beauty industry. We are ideally looking for a Part Time leading into a Full Time position but can also consider you for a full-time position if your skills and experience meet our standards.

We offer between AUD$27 - AUD$31 per-hour depending on skill level and previous related job experience. If your application is successful, we will conduct a skill assessment in-house which will provide you an opportunity to check out our beauty salon and to meet the team.

If you have no previous job experience in a similar role, our recommendation is for you to join an academy program in Australia (e.g. Australian Beauty School) and we can offer you to join our Apprentices Program leading into a full time staff member.

ABOUT THE JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

- Good communication in English to understand our client’s request




- Have great skill and experience with the application of water-based gel nail products
- Have experience with ‘Nail Extension Procedure’ using gel based products
- You are highly desirable if you can speak and write in a second language such as Chinese, Korean, Japanese or other popular asian language due to our strong online presence in niche asian social media platform
- You are highly desirable if you can do Nail Art & Design
- You are highly desirable if you can do short reel video content creation
