Full Job Description: Join our dynamic team at Industrial Steels, a leading steel wholesale distribution warehouse in Hallam. We are currently seeking a motivated Warehouse Storeman to manage the loading, unloading, and organization of steel materials within our facility.

Position Summary: The warehouse staff are responsible for ensuring that materials are loaded and unloaded efficiently, inspected, receipted, and placed in their designated areas in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include managing stock allocation, collecting heat numbers, preparing delivery dockets, maintaining a secure and tidy warehouse, labelling materials, operating a forklift, following delivery schedules, picking orders, and completing all necessary documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Forklift license
- Valid driver's license
- Crane experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of steel materials and sizes




- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Previous warehouse experience
- Competent in speaking and reading English

Key Responsibilities:

- Load and unload materials while ensuring accuracy
- Inspect and receipt materials, organising them in correct locations
- Manage stock allocation and organisation
- Collect heat numbers and prepare delivery dockets
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety
- Label materials accurately
- Operate forklift safely
- Adhere to delivery schedules
- Pick and prepare orders as required
- Complete all warehouse paperwork and other miscellaneous duties
