Part-Time Front of House — Good Daze Canteen, Fitzroy

Good Daze Canteen is a premium ice cream brand with a cult following and a Fitzroy shop people cross Melbourne for. We make everything from scratch and build our flavours around the cultures of the world — the kind of place a real foodie gets excited about. We want people who feel that too.

The job: once you're trained up, you'll often be the whole front of house. Scooping, making matcha, running the counter and the card machine, keeping the place spotless, and closing down at the end of the night. A lot of shifts it's just you running the show; on our busiest shifts you'll be part of a tight two. Either way it's real, fast, hands-on work, and you know a shift went well when the cabinet looks sharp, the queue kept moving, and everyone left happier than they walked in.

What we look for:

- Warm, quick, and genuinely good with people — you like making someone's day, whether they're trying something new or reaching for something nostalgic.
- Reliable to a fault. If you're rostered, you're there.




- Able to work well alone and hold the line on cleanliness and presentation without being watched.
- Cares about the product — serving every scoop to the standard we're known for.
- Keen to learn. Hospo experience (café, dessert, gelato, bubble tea) is a plus, but attitude matters more — we'll train you on the rest.

What we offer:

We run shifts across the week including days, nights and weekends, so we're after someone with versatile availability and a regular pattern we can roster around.
