Summer Holiday Work Program with Field Data

Are you currently studying a degree in Agricultural and would like casual work over summer break?

AGnVET has opportunities to be part of Field Data Team supporting field data collection and analysis and giving you hands-on experience in real-world agricultural operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Participants will be offered a casual position with a structured training program in the field data team. Successful applicants will get exposure and experience to the fundamental elements of data collection during the summer holiday period, which contributes to meaningful field-based projects across AGnVET locations.

Each student will be assigned a Mentor within the AGnVET business who will:

- Coordinate training, field activities and experiences.
- Provide guidance on data collection and interpretation.
- Ensure exposure to a variety of operational environments.

Students will contribute to:

- Field data collection (crop, livestock, soil, or
operational data).
- Basic data analysis and reporting.
- Supporting agronomic and business decision making processes.

You are currently completing your studies in an Agricultural specific degree (1st to final year) and are keen to gain a career opportunity in an agribusiness where you can apply and extend your learning through hands-on experience and exposure to roles in a successful enterprise.

We are seeking people that are passionate about developing their technical, management and leadership potential.

You will be motivated, have strong communication and problem-solving skills, adaptable to change and have effective interpersonal skills. Your demonstrated participation and leadership through extra-curricular activities will also give you an advantage.
