Job description:

We are seeking experienced and motivated Trade Assistant and Labourers to join our team for various projects across the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region. If you have experience working at heights, confined spaces, and have a background in mining or construction, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general labour duties across multiple projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of worksites, including loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate hand and power tools, machinery, and equipment as required by the specific tasks.
- Perform tasks such as digging, trenching, site cleanup, and other physical duties as directed by supervisors.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces in accordance with safety procedures and project needs.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols on-site, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any hazards, incidents, or near-misses to the site supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and to project specifications.
- Participate in drive-in, drive-out (DIDO), fly-in, fly-out (FIFO), and local projects as needed, with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.




- Assist with routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Requirements:

- Valid Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (Desireable).
- Previous experience in mining or construction is required.
- Ability to work in various locations, including remote and local sites.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
