Auto Masters Macgregor is seeking an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our growing team in a permanent full time position.

· AQF Certificate III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology qualification

· A current full driver’s licence

· Available to work Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturday mornings

· Learn and grow through hands-on training with management.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

· Take charge of servicing, repairing and maintaining both new and used vehicles.

· Remove, inspect, repair and refit engine, transmission, steering, suspension and other mechanical components where required.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using suitable testing and diagnostic equipment.

· Carry out scheduled, logbook, major and minor servicing in line with manufacturer requirements.

· Inspect vehicle components,



identify worn or damaged parts, and repair or replace them where necessary.

· Test and adjust repaired components to ensure vehicles operate safely and correctly.

· Deliver top-notch workmanship on every vehicle.

· Follow the correct procedures and standards when performing warranty work.

· Use workshop manuals, technical information and scan tools to assist with fault diagnosis and repairs.

· Keep workshop tools, hoists and equipment in safe working condition.

· Complete all necessary paperwork, including job cards and detailed records of servicing and repairs carried out.

· Handle oils, fluids and workshop materials in accordance with safety and environmental procedures.

· Always adhere to workplace health and safety policies.
