We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Female Disability Support Workers to provide 1:1 support to a female participant in Blacktown.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide 1:1 support in a home environment
- Respond to the participant's needs and assist with their daily activities and routines
- Documenting end of shift progress notes and drafting reports for stakeholders
- Promote independence, give choice, encourage inclusiveness and respect the rights and privacy of an individual with a disability through planning and creating opportunities.
- Work within the NDIS Code of Conduct
- Work within a team to ensure quality and continuity of care
- Provide Community Participation to participants by providing transport, assisting them on social outings/public transport, shopping, budgeting etc
- Be proactive to continually educate yourself on the specific needs of participants and conditions




- Ability to engage participant in a range of hobbies and interests and build rapport

- Reliable, trustworthy, and skilled
- Strong communication skills

Essential Requirements:
- ABN (subcontractor arrangement)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
