About the Role

As the Leader of Learning - Transitions & Pathways (Years 9 & 10)/VET, the key areas of responsibility for Curriculum/VET delivery are:

Lead curriculum, teaching and learning of the faculty to deliver high quality learning outcomes for all students
Set high standards for student achievement and staff performance
Track and monitor student academic progress in all year levels
Ensure College processes comply with the regulatory framework and VET standards (QCAA and ASQA), while building staff capability in these areas
Ensure compliance of internal VET documents for the qualifications within the College's scope of registration




Monitor and track the completion and attainment of VET qualifications
Demonstrate a strong understanding of VET (or the capacity to develop expertise in this area)
Build strong partnerships with students, parents, external providers and the wider college community

As a Head of Department, you will also serve as a Pride Leader for selected students in Bragg House.

In this role, you will monitor and respond to student engagement data, including attendance and behaviour, while supporting the wellbeing of students across two Pride Classes within the College's vertical house structure.
