About the Opportunity
Join NT PHN in a key role supporting the delivery of engaging communication, marketing and internal engagement staff activities across the organisation.
The Marketing and Internal Communication Coordinator will support the Marketing and Communications team in delivering a range of communication initiatives, including the development of communication materials, digital marketing campaigns, events and internal engagement activities. This role will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Lead and Senior Marketing and Communications Officer to create clear, engaging and effective communications that support organisational priorities.
This is a casual position, with the opportunity to work full-time hours until the end of January 2027.
About You
You are an organised and creative communications professional with at least one year of experience in marketing, communications or a related field. You bring strong writing and coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- At least one year experience working in a marketing and communications environment, or similar field
- Marketing, communication, public relations or related degree would be highly regarded.
- High level verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to write for a range of communication channels including web, social media and email direct marketing.
- Knowledge of communication planning, tools and tactics.
- High level of digital literacy and proficiency in using the MS office suite of programs.
- High level organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and prioritise competing workloads.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team to deliver positive outcomes for the organisation.
- Experience using Canva and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working with marketing and social media tools such as MailChimp and Agorapulse.
- Graphic design, photography or videography experience would be advantageous.
About the Role
Key priorities include:
- Preparing, publishing and distributing timely and accurate written communication material including the organisation’s e-newsletters and social media posts.
- Providing event support for both internal and external events.
- Preparing and publishing content for the organisation’s internal SharePoint site.
- Monitoring social media channels and the communication email inbox.
- Creating and publishing content for the organisation’s website.
- Providing graphic design, videography and photography support.
- Preparing and managing social media content creation for advertising campaigns with guidance from senior communication staff.
