We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our dedicated team.
Salary
- $40.29 per hour
- Full-time permanent position (38 hours per week)
About the Role
As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will work collaboratively with the leadership team and fellow educators to provide high-quality education and care while creating meaningful learning experiences for children.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality education and care for children in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Develop, implement and evaluate engaging learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Observe, assess and document children's learning and development.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Support children's wellbeing, development and individual learning needs.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and reflective practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standard (NQS) and Child Safe Standards.
- Support and mentor Certificate III educators where appropriate.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively as part of a positive and professional team.
Essential Skills
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust organisational and time management skills.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must:
- Hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Have experience working in an early childhood education and care setting.
- Hold a current Working With Children Check.
- Hold current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or be willing to obtain prior to commencement).
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
