Senior Technical Facilities Manager

Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of facilities management services across a high-profile portfolio.

This role will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, efficient and cost-effective operation of building services, with a strong focus on technical maintenance, contractor management, compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day facilities operations across the portfolio.

- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities.

- Manage contractors, vendors and service providers to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to standard.

- Ensure compliance with WHS, statutory, legislative and company requirements.

- Monitor building performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders, invoicing and cost control.

- Conduct site inspections and manage any risks, defects or maintenance issues.

- Build strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders.

- Support minor projects, upgrades and lifecycle works as required.

- Maintain accurate records, reports, compliance documentation and maintenance schedules.

About You





- Previous experience in Facilities Management, Technical Facilities Management or building services.

- Strong technical understanding across areas such as HVAC, electrical, fire, hydraulics, lifts and general building maintenance.

- Experience managing contractors and planned/reactive maintenance programs.

- Strong knowledge of WHS, risk, compliance and statutory requirements.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

- Robust financial and administrative capability, including budgets, invoicing and reporting.

- Trade, engineering, facilities management or building services qualification highly regarded.
