Lifestyle Movement Work with Us! Want to be part of the UKO team? We are always on the lookout for diverse, vibrant and energetic people to join us at UKO. If you have hospitality, hotel and/or real estate experience and keen to work with a progressive future-focussed business, we want to meet you! About Us UKO is a leading Australian co-living and build-to-rent property management business. We empower inner-city renters to live a well balanced life through affordable, flexible and community-led living. Currently Sydney based, we are expanding across to Perth with a goal to stretch into many more Australian cities in years to come. Our custom-designed accommodation spaces offer renters an inner-city nest to not just call home but also connect and network. Residents of our apartments live in private studios or apartments with access to communal living where they can meet new friends and ultimately unwind in the company of others should they want to. UKO is where real friendships are made, and many stories have begun and we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience, along with an exceptional workplace. With more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality and shortterm accommodation industries, co-founders Alex Thorpe and Rhys Williams started UKO in 2018 with backing from the Accommodation Powerhouse Group. Our dynamic team consists of real estate professionals, designers, salespeople, operations experts, marketers and hospitality veterans. Our People UKO People are fun, hard working with a great sense of humour and achievement. We manage co-living properties across Australia and build communities and creative vertical villages for a living. Leasing Agent [Sydney]

UKO is expanding, and we’re looking for an ambitious Leasing Agent to help drive the successful lease-up of our newest Be Why community.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in launching one of our newest developments by generating local demand, converting enquiries into residents, and delivering an exceptional leasing experience.

This is a casual position offering adaptable part-time hours based on business requirements. It is an ideal role for someone looking for flexibility while gaining hands-on experience with a high-profile property launch and growing their career with one of Australia’s leading co-living and Build-to-Rent operators.

This is not a support role. You’ll run the leasing process end to end, from first enquiry through to move-in,

with real accountability for occupancy and conversion. Because this is co-living, the relationship does not end at lease signing — you’ll be a visible, trusted presence for residents throughout their stay.

What You’ll Do

Own the leasing cycle — manage enquiries, run inspections, qualify and progress applications, negotiate and execute leases, and coordinate seamless move-ins. Conversion and speed-to-lease are your measures of success.
Drive occupancy and revenue — manage your own pipeline and prioritise activity against occupancy and revenue targets.
Build resident relationships — be a key point of contact from pre-arrival to departure, building relationships that drive renewals, referrals and positive reviews.
Support community — help deliver resident events and engagement initiatives that set UKO apart. A strong community is a full community.
Bring market insight — monitor demand, competitor activity and pricing, and provide on-the-ground feedback to support pricing and campaign decisions.

What You’ll Bring

Experience in residential leasing, real estate, PBSA, BTR or co-living, with a record of converting enquiries into signed leases. Two or more years of experience is preferred.
A current NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 2 Real Estate Licence, or willingness to obtain one quickly. UKO will fund the course.
The confidence to run a leasing function autonomously and be accountable for results.
A genuine customer-service mindset — you enjoy dealing with residents and take pride in prompt, professional responses.
Ambition to progress into property and community management.

Why UKO

Structured career progression — we promote from within, with a defined pathway into Property and Community Manager roles.
Ongoing training and certifications funded by UKO.
Regular team and resident events, wellness programs and an Employee Assistance Program.
A supportive, high-performing team environment.

About UKO

UKO operates community-focused co-living and BTR properties across Australia, with more locations opening soon. Our residents enjoy beautifully designed studios and apartments, premium shared spaces and a genuine sense of belonging — all professionally managed. Discover more about us at www.uko.com.au
