About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Trade Waiter to join our front-of-house team at Antica Dining.

This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong fine dining service experience who takes pride in delivering attentive, knowledgeable and personalised service to guests.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations while maintaining Antica’s high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide professional and attentive table service in a premium fine dining environment.

· Present menus and explain dishes, ingredients, daily specials and beverage options to guests.

· Recommend food and wine pairings to enhance the overall dining experience.

· Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the restaurant POS system.

· Serve food and beverages in accordance with fine dining service sequence and presentation standards.

· Prepare and maintain table settings, service stations and mise en place before, during and after service.





· Open, present and pour wines and other beverages in accordance with responsible service standards.

· Coordinate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service.

· Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns.

· Assist with private dining events, functions and special service requirements.

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and professional presentation.

· Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures as required.

About You

· Relevant hospitality qualification preferred.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a waiter in a quality restaurant, hotel or fine dining establishment.

· Strong knowledge of table service, menu presentation and fine dining etiquette.

· Ability to confidently recommend food and beverage options to guests.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality workplace.
