Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities? We are seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Staff to join our team in Fairfield, NSW. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide social support, and companionship to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, domestic duties and medication management.
- Support clients with mobility, transportation, and social activities.
- Empower clients to live as independently as possible, fostering dignity and respect.
- Assist with light household duties and community engagement.

Requirements:

- Minimum Qualification: Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current NDIS screening check and WWCC
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car with insurance for transportation of clients.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful attitude towards people with disabilities.
- Honest,



reliable and committed to work unsupervised in 1:1 environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with Mental health or complex behaviour or acquired brain injury type of disabled clients is a must which also requires verification through references.
- Clean Updated Police Certificate
- Must possess valid ABN.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of disability support practices and NDIS guidelines.
- Experience with complex needs or behavioural support is a plus.
