Tasks and duties:

Prepare and cook Italian dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes

Assist in planning and preparing daily food preparation requirements

Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items in a timely manner

Ensure consistent food presentation and portion control

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen

Monitor stock levels and inform management when supplies need ordering

Follow all food safety, hygiene,



and workplace health and safety regulations

Assist with maintaining kitchen standards during busy service periods

Requirements and skills:

At least 2 years relevant work experience as a Cook, or relevant qualification

Experience in Italian cuisine preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good organisational and time management skills

Ability to work effectively within a team

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Robust attention to detail and consistency
