YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Testing Strategy & Leadership

- Lead the creation, development, and execution of both functional and non-functional testing strategies for the platform, ensuring alignment with the TAL QE Strategy.
- Own and be accountable for testing delivery across the team.
- Standardise testing practices and ensure compliance with the testing framework, including explicit entry / exit criteria, quality gates and test completion report.
- Design reusable templates to enhance the efficiency of test design.
- Advocate for QE and lead initiatives to meet program QE goals.

Delivery & Execution

- Contribute to User Story refinement sessions to clarify acceptance criteria, monitor risks, and confirm the Definition of Done.
- Prepare and document detailed test plans for system, e2e integration and UAT/ Business Process testing in alignment with the Delivery / Project Manager
- Coordinate test plans with release and environment schedules for the project.
- Coordinate and drive end-to-end testing with the team and stakeholders in a hands-on manner.
- Conduct exploratory, functional, and automated progression and regression testing to ensure software quality.
- Log and track defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution.

Enablement & Collaboration

- Mentor team members and promote QA best practices.
- Maintain thorough test documentation and adhere to testing standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.





YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

In addition to the core capabilities set out in TAL’s role requirements for this level, you will need:

Core Technical Skills

- At least 8 years of experience in software testing in a lead capacity.
- Proficiency in using JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, or similar test management tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
- QE experience in Salesforce and Genesys platforms.
- Experience testing cloud-hosted applications.
- Knowledge or experience in insurance or finance domains.

Desirable Skills

- Experience working with AI.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Ability to setup and run regression suites via Azure Devops CI/CD pipelines
- Cross Browser & Mobile testing experience.

Pay: $70,369.28 – $150,662.17 per year
