About the Role:

This role is perfect for someone with a person-centred approach who has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with physical or intellectual disabilities, who enjoys a challenge and enjoys the rewarding feeling of making a difference in someone’s life.

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for an adult requiring support within the home involving In Home Care and Community Access.

Shifts available: Tuesday 10am - 2pm, Wednesday 11.30am - 3.30pm, Thursday 12.30pm - 4.30pm, Saturday 9.30am - 4.30pm

Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs.

Pay rate Minimum starting rate is $46.81 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).

Skills and Experience:

Experience and/or qualifications in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care or equivalent (students currently studying in these areas,



as well as Nursing, Physiotherapy, OT and Paramedicine also encouraged to apply)

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven.
- Reliable, kind, and caring nature, with valuable work ethics
- Well-presented and a professional approach
- Active with average physical fitness level
- Positively engage, interact, and work with people who have complex needs.
- Ability to apply sensitivity, empathy, cultural awareness, and an open-minded approach to personal matters.

Requirements:

- Current resume and 2 professional referees
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
- Current driver license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001)
