The Role

As part of our underground operations team, you'll be responsible for operating UG MPU vehicles to ensure the delivery of top-quality products for blasting purposes at the site. Your responsibilities will include preparing for the charging of explosives into blast holes, which encompasses tasks such as prepping and loading of blast holes, setting up necessary equipment, handling explosives, priming, and stemming. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have substantial experience in underground charge-up operations, including both development and production blasting.

Key Responsibilities

Operate MPU

Handle explosives, priming, stemming, and equipment setup

Maintain strong safety and communication standards underground

Conduct pre-start checks and weekly inspections of assets

Prepare and charge blast holes (development & production)

Uphold a high level of professionalism at all times
