Elite College of English (ECE) is an exclusive official provider of both the AEAS School Preparation Course and the AEAS Test Preparation Course in NSW and Worldwide Online. Working alongside our partner institution, JPI Education, we deliver premium programs that support the academic and personal growth of international and migrant students aged 6–16.

Our focus spans English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD), test preparation, and school readiness, underpinned by a commitment to holistic learning and individualised student support.

Your Role

We are currently recruiting dynamic and experienced educators to deliver:

- EALD and ESL classes for young learners
- Academic English and school preparation programs
- AEAS Test Preparation modules (training and accreditation provided through AEAS)

You will teach at either our Chatswood Central or Sydney CBD campuses, in a supportive environment with small classes and dedicated learning goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, and Vocabulary
- Guide students aged 6–16 in small group and one-on-one settings
- Support students in language development, school transition, and academic confidence
- Optionally deliver AEAS Test Prep content after formal AEAS training and accreditation
- Use structured resources, including the Cambridge Young Learners framework where suitable
- Maintain detailed student progress records and collaborate with academic teams
- Uphold AEAS course integrity, assessment practices, and confidentiality standards

What We’re Looking For





- Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese preferred but not essential
- Strong classroom presence with the ability to motivate young learners
- Empathy and cultural awareness when working with international and migrant students
- Adaptability in instructional style to suit individual and group needs
- Interest in holistic education, critical thinking, and long-term student success

Qualifications & Requirements

Preferred (aligned with AEAS provider standards):

- Bachelor’s degree in education or teaching from a Western university
- Recognised TESOL / CELTA / ESL qualification
- School-based teaching experience (Australia or international)
- Familiarity with Cambridge Young Learners or equivalent ESL programs
- Understanding of Australian school system and curriculum pathways

Minimum Requirements:

- Recognised ESL/EALD teaching qualification
- IELTS 8.0+ or equivalent for non-native speakers
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Full Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete AEAS Teacher Accreditation Training
