The Exchange Hotel in Toogoolawah is seeking for a motivated, qualified Chef.

Responsibilities -

* Manage the cooking sessions, oversee compliance, inspect dish quality, continuous team coaching

*Responsible for the preparation of dishes

* Control the food preparation and delegate

* Implement and follow hotel menu

* Keeping within the set budget

* Stock ordering, Temperature controls, Rotation and stock monitoring, Stock counts

* Recipe & dish training, Food compliance training, Kitchen safety compliance training

* Manage a team

* Ensure a secure & hygienic work environment

* Oversee equipment faults, routine compliance & safety audits, Routine cleaning checks

Requirements -

* Min 5 yrs experience as a Chef

* Relevant Trade qualifications in culinary/cookery

* Excellent cookery skills & a passion to excel in this industry
