Finance Officer – 6 Month Contract

We're looking for a Finance Officer with strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience to join our growing Melbourne Outer East team on a 6-month contract.

About the Role

As our Finance Officer, you'll support the smooth running of our finance function, managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and account enquiries while providing high-quality support to clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable, including supplier invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, and supplier enquiries.
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment allocations, collections, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier account records.
- Investigate and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and general finance administration.
- Process Support at Home (SaH) statements, claims, and client balances (advantageous).

About You

- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Officer role, managing high volumes of invoices and transactions.




- Strong collections and account reconciliation experience
- Excellent communication skills with clear, professional spoken and written English
- Highly organised with robust attention to detail
- Able to manage high-volume transactions and competing priorities
- Experience with NetSuite, Aurion, or similar ERP systems (advantageous)
- Relevant Accounting or Finance qualification, or equivalent experience (advantageous)
