Job Description

Join Cliveden Dining as a Demi Chef and play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations by preparing and presenting high-quality dishes with creativity and flair. Assist senior chefs in menu preparation, stock control, and maintaining cleanliness, while upholding the highest food hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and present menu items consistent with hotel standards and cost margins

- Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and minimising food wastage

- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe kitchen setting





- Support senior chefs with daily kitchen and event operations

- Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed

- Follow health, safety, and food hygiene policies strictly

Qualifications

Qualifications

Requirements:

- Trade qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Demi Chef or Commis Chef in a busy kitchen

- Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills

- Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays

- Full legal work rights to work in Australia to be considered for this role
