Sydneywide Hire Group is a leading events service provider, specializing in crafting exceptional experiences for government and corporate clients. We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager who combines strategic management with a willingness to be directly involved in day-to-day operations.

The Role:

As a Hands-On Warehouse Operations Manager, you will oversee our warehouse operations while also actively engaging in the physical work required to manage event equipment and logistics. This dual role requires a unique blend of organizational leadership and a practical, on-the-floor approach to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the warehouse team, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and safely.
- Actively participate in the receiving, handling, storing, and shipping of event equipment and materials.
- Implement and oversee inventory management systems, ensuring accuracy and readiness for event deployments.
- Engage directly in the loading and unloading of goods, equipment maintenance, and warehouse organization.
- Coordinate with the event planning and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with event schedules.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and standard operating procedures within the warehouse.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:





- Proven experience in warehouse management with a hands-on approach to leadership.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as part of routine warehouse activities.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and standard warehouse equipment.
- Excellent team management and communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- A valid driver’s license, with forklift operation certification preferred.
