Salary: $79,500 to $80,000 per annum plus superannuation

About Us

Lindenow Farmers Home Hotel is a well-established hospitality venue providing quality food, beverages and dining experiences to the local community and visitors. We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team and contribute to the continued success of our business.

The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards and supporting daily kitchen operations across our restaurant, bar and functions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality meals in accordance with menu standards
- Assisting with menu planning and development
- Ensuring consistency, quality and presentation of all dishes
- Managing food preparation and kitchen operations during service periods
- Supervising and supporting kitchen staff where required
- Ordering stock, monitoring inventory and minimising food wastage




- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
- Ensuring compliance with relevant food handling regulations
- Maintaining a clean, organised and effective kitchen environment

Skills and Experience Required

Applicants must have:

- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment
- Experience working in restaurants, hotels or similar hospitality venues
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy service environment

Pay: $79,500.00 – $80,000.00 per year
