Elouera Home Support is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Care Support Workers to join our growing team providing in-home and community-based support services across Shoalhaven, and surrounding areas.
This casual role is ideal for experienced Support Workers who are passionate about helping people maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.
About the Role
As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide practical, social, and personal support to clients in their homes and within the community.
Duties may include:
- Personal care and mobility support
- Meal preparation and assistance with daily living activities
- Domestic assistance, including light cleaning and laundry
- Social support and companionship
- Community access, appointments, and shopping assistance
- Welfare checks and wellbeing monitoring
- Respite support for families and carers
- Following individual care plans
- Completing shift notes and documentation
What We're Looking For
We are seeking caring and dependable individuals who:
- Have a genuine passion for supporting others
- Can work independently and use initiative
- Communicate professionally and respectfully
- Are reliable and responsive to team communications
- Willing to travel to surrounding areas within a 30–40 minute radius
- Have flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and short services
This position is particularly suited to workers looking to build their hours over time. As client services grow, opportunities for ongoing and regular shifts become available. Applicants with flexible availability and a willingness to travel across our service areas will be highly regarded.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services, or similar (or willingness to obtain)
- Current National Police Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Smartphone and confidence using mobile apps
