The Role:

- Design, provision, optimize, and operate resilient database solutions using AWS Aurora Postgres
- Database tuning, optimization, and networking expertise
- Setup backup, failover, and disaster recovery strategies
- Collaborate with application teams to design and create database schemas for new microservices
- Participate in agile development, including design, implementation, and deployment

This is a Hybrid working setting : 3 days in office / 2 days WFH

Ideally, you will have:

- 6+years as a Database Engineer or Database Designer in a financial services environment
- Extensive experience implementing highly available database solutions on AWS Postgres Aurora
- Knowledge of cloud data security
- Full working rights in Australia is required for this role
