URGENT HIRING – Disability Support Worker (Murringo, NSW)

Location: Murringo, NSW

Vitium Cura Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to an 11-year-old participant living with a foster carer.

Support Schedule

- Approximately 2 hours per week
- Sessions will likely alternate between:
- Wednesday afternoons
- Friday afternoons
- Some flexibility may be available depending on the participant's therapy schedule.

About the Role

The successful support worker will assist the participant to:

- Develop daily living skills and increase independence
- Build consistent routines through repetition within the home
- Complete everyday household tasks (e.g. making the bed, following routines)
- Access the community safely and confidently
- Increase physical activity in line with Occupational Therapist and allied health recommendations
- Promote confidence, wellbeing, and social participation
- Complete accurate progress notes and documentation after each shift

Essential Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)




- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- National Police Check
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with disability is highly desirable
