About the Role

We are seeking caring and reliable Aged Carers to provide general household assistance, personal care, emotional support, and companionship to elderly and disabled clients in residential aged care facilities and in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

- accompanying aged and disabled persons during daily activities
- assisting clients with their mobility
- preparing food for clients
- arranging social activities
- performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning
- assisting in personal hygiene and dressing
- providing companionship, friendship, and emotional support
- may do shopping and run errands
- may live with the person

Essential Requirements





- AQF Certificate III or higher-level qualification in aged care, ageing support, geriatric care, disability care/support, individual support, home and community care, and nursing.
- At least one year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant work experience in aged care, disability support, community care, or home care. Applicants with two or more years of relevant experience will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (desirable).
- Current Australian Driver Licence (essential for in-home care services).
