Tradelink is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Branch Assistant to join our team in Rosebud. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and supporting the smooth running of our busy branch.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Processing sales transactions and handling cash and payments
- Maintaining inventory and stock levels, including receiving and restocking deliveries
- Providing product information and advice to customers
- Participating in merchandising and store presentation tasks
- Supporting the Branch Manager with administrative tasks as required
- Ad-hoc deliveries in brand new Isuzu Ute or Truck (MR Licence dependant)
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the building supplies or hardware industry but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working,
with the willingness to take on a variety of tasks
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
