The Lighthouse Pub is a staple pub in Canberra, operating for over 30 years - and we're looking for hard-working Kitchen Hands to join our back-of-house crew!

About the Role:
As a Kitchen Hand, you'll support the kitchen team with a range of essential tasks to keep everything running smoothly during service. From food prep and cleaning to maintaining a secure and hygienic kitchen, you'll be a key part of our opening team.

Duties will include:

- Assisting chefs with basic food prep (washing, chopping, plating)
- Keeping dishes, pots, and pans clean and ready to go
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and up to health & safety standards
- Helping with deliveries, stock rotation, and waste disposal
- Working as part of a fast-paced,



friendly kitchen team

We're Looking For:

- Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in hospitality (preferred but not essential)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and follow instructions
- Reliability, punctuality, and great attention to detail
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
